FSRC EQUIPMENT
You have access to a variety of equipment at the FSRC to complete your course or other campus work related projects. Refer to the Guides below for a description on the different equipment and how you can use it.
Resources Guides
Guides require the use of Acrobat Reader, unless otherwise identified. Get Acrobat Reader
- Black & White Printer
Print in black and white using the Lexmark laser printer from any computer station in the FSRC. Printer is located in the main lab area of the FSRC. - Color Printer
Print in color using the Dell laser printer from any computer station in the FSRC. Printer is located in the main lab area of the FSRC. - Multifunction Printer
Print black & white documents, make copies and scan using the Brother multifunction printer from any computer station in the FSRC. Printer is located in the main lab are of the FSRC. - DiMage Scanner
Create digital images from film slides using this scanner located in the FSRC's Project Room. - Hardware Extras
Headsets to listen to audio, fire wire to connect a digital camera to a computer, and USB ports to connect USB devices are available at Windows computer stations. Macintosh stations are also supplied with headphones for audio, zip drives and USB hub. - Using Vision for Training
If you are teaching a class or training in an IRT Managed Computer Lab you can use Altiris Vision, to manage participant computer activity in the lab. This can range from locking down users's stations for a full-focus presentation, sharing files between instructor and participants, projecting the instructor's desktop onto participants' computer screens, and highlighting elements in your presentation using a variety of pointer tools.
