PARTICIPANT RESOURCES

iMEET Sessions can be accessed from the iMEET Sessions Schedule by faculty, staff and students. iMEET can be used for department meetings, advising sessions, course specific meetings, other general meetings, or any event that requires users to connect online.

Although this option is open for course specific meetings, instructors that have SacCT courses set up, may choose to make all iMEET sessions available from their SacCT courses, making it easier for students to locate course material and course sepecifc sessions in one location.

Participate in a Meeting

Participating in an iMEET session is simple but you need to become familiar with the Elluminate Live! interface and tools. The iMEET interface is composed of four basic windows which are explained below, followed by a sample image of an iMEET meeting:

  1. Participant window - displays the members that are logged into the iMEET meeting.
  2. Chat window - area where you type text messages and where the ongoing chat conversation is displayed.
  3. Audio Window - used to enable/disable the microphone to talk to others and where you can change your audio and microphone sound level.
  4. Whiteboard window - used to display files such as: presentations, videos, images, and can also be used as a drawing board.
