A browser plug-in is a computer application that interacts with a Web browser (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari) to perform a specific function, such as viewing a video file.
Video Players

Flash Player Download: View multimedia applications and animations designed with Flash.

QuickTime Download Listen to music or view video files, such as a video file created in the QuickTime video format (.mov).

RealPlayer Download Listen to music or view video files created with RealMedia. Be sure to get the FREE RealPlayer.

Windows MediaPlayer Download Listen to music or view video files created in Windows Media format (.avi, .wmv).
Mac users download Flip4Mac.

Open, edit, and save documents, workbooks, and presentations in the new file formats for Microsoft Office 2007 (Windows) or Office 2008 for Mac while using Office 2004 for Mac. -
Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 2007: View presentations created in PowerPoint 97 and later versions without having PowerPoint installed on your computer.
