The Department of Biological Sciences offers the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biological Sciences and the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological Sciences. An Honors Program is available with either the BA or the BS degree. A minor in Biological Sciences is also available.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE about Bio 5 and Bio 9:

The Department has developed a new introductory course for non-majors. The course is Bio 9: Our Living World: Evolution, Ecology and Behavior (taught by Dr. Ron Coleman)

Bio 9 has replaced Bio 5. Unlike Bio 5, Bio 9 does NOT have a lab.
