Scholarship

Jay Crain, Anthropology, published an invited review of Reed L. Wadley, editor, “Histories of the Borneo Environment: Economic, Political and Social Dimensions of Change and Continuity.” Leiden: KITLV Press, 2005. This appeared in the journal Indonesia Vol. 86, pp. 161-164.

Microsoft did a case study on Lani Fraizer’s teaching from two summer classes in 2008. As a result, one of her students was also featured, along with a university staff member. The feature was released on the Microsoft website, http://www.microsoft.com/casestudies/casestudy.aspx?casestudyid=4000003236 and also released to universities worldwide.

Caio Miguel, Psychology, had the article “The Effects of Response Interruption and Redirection and Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (Sertraline) on Vocal Stereotypy” accepted for publication in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Maria Jaoudi, Humanities and Religious Studies, was interviewed by KCRA-TV on the topic of “Religion and the Economy.”  The segment aired Dec. 14, 2008.
