for the future--College of Engineering and Computer Science
will bring business leaders to campus
The College of Engineering and Computer Science at Sacramento
State is hosting a forum titled "Sacramento Region Engineering
Workforce" on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It's designed to address the growing need for engineers and
IT professionals in the region.

spring address set
President Alexander Gonzalez will give his annual spring address
to the campus community on Thursday, Jan. 25 in the University
Union Ballroom. The event will begin with coffee at 9 a.m.,
followed by the talk at 10 a.m.

is published on Mondays during the academic year, and the
deadline for submissions is 10 a.m. the Wednesday before publication.
Items are published on a space available basis and are usually
edited. More information is available by calling Public Affairs

Sacramento
State employees may ride all Sacramento Regional
Transit fixed-route transit services, including
Light Rail, by presenting a valid Sacramento State
OneCard with an employee transit pass. Passes
are $10 and are valid for six months (Jan. 1 to
June 30 and July 1 to Dec. 31). They can be purchased
at the Student Financial Service Center in Lassen
Hall or at the University Transportation and Parking
Services (UTAPS) office in Foley Hall.
