The application deadline for new students in Sacramento State’s Fall 2009 semester is quickly approaching. The deadline for freshmen is March 1, and students are urged to apply as soon as possible.
The system-wide impaction declared by the California State University in response to the state’s worsening fiscal crisis only affects over-enrolled campuses, which have reduced the number of students they will accept. Sacramento State’s enrollment has been stable and on target, so the campus is excluded from the impaction.
Sacramento State will continue to serve its students as always by enrolling to its target for next fall and basing admissions on the same criteria from previous years.
Application deadlines are:
March 1, 2009, for freshmen enrolling in the Fall 2009 semester.
June 1, 2009 for transfer students enrolling in the Fall 2009 semester.
