Applications being accepted for Capital Fellows Program

Sacramento State’s Center for California Studies is taking applications for its Capital Fellows Program. The program allows college graduates to engage in, and prepare for a career in public service.
                          
The Capital Fellows Program includes:
The California Senate Fellows (www.csus.edu/calst/senate)
The Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship Program (www.csus.edu/calst/assembly)
The Executive Fellowship Program (www.csus.edu/calst/executive)  
The Judicial Administration Fellowship Program (www.csus.edu/calst/judicial)

Fellows work 10 to 11 months as full-time staff members in the California state Assembly, Senate, executive branch or within the California court system. The program offers a monthly stipend of $1,972 along with health benefits. In addition, participants earn 12 graduate units in Government or Public Policy and Administration.

Applicants must have a four-year college or university degree and a demonstrated interest in state government and public service.
