Part-time instructors sought for 2010/11 academic year

Sacramento State anticipates a need for part-time instructors for the 2010/2011 academic year.

Vacancies are anticipated in the Colleges of Education, Business Administration, Health and Human Services, Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science and Arts and Letters. Vacancies are also anticipated in the University Library.

Applicants should send a personal letter stating their interests and qualifications along with a supporting current resume to the appropriate department or college care of California State University, Sacramento, 6000 J Street, Sacramento, Calif., 95819. The deadline is Monday, March 8.

A master's degree in the subject area is the normal minimum requirement, although a doctorate-level degree is preferred. Teaching experience in the subject area is desirable and may be required. Additional qualifications may be required by individual departments. Salary rate is variable depending upon qualifications and relevant experience.
