Lascher named SSIS associate dean
Edward (Ted) Lascher
Edward (Ted) Lascher, has been named the new associate dean in the College of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies (SSIS). He was previously the associate director of the educational doctorate program and the director of the Serna Center. He will maintain administrative responsibility for the Serna Center until a new director is appointed.
Lascher served two terms as the chair of the Public Policy and Administration Department. He was also a member of the SSIS Curriculum Committee for six years and its chair for two years. He has been a member of the College Secondary ARTP Committee and a member of the SSIS Summer Research and Scholarly Awards Committee.
He earned the SSIS Outstanding Teacher Award and the President’s Award for Research and Creative Activity.
