State of the City Address

Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson will deliver his first State of the City address Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Sacramento State.
The mayor will address business and present government leaders and outline his vision for Sacramento, the state of the city’s finances, describe future projects for the region and outline partnerships with the public and private sectors.
The Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual mayoral State of the City. The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the University Union Ballroom.
The Metro Chamber reports the event sold out faster than expected and the general audience registration has closed.
