Mary Mackey, English, was interviewed by poet Andy Jones on his radio program “Poetry and Technology.” Mackey read from her new collection of poetry Breaking the Fever at Bistro33 in Davis. Mackey was also honored at the Berkeley Public Library Authors dinner for her novel The Notorious Mrs. Winston, participated in a panel discussing literary fiction at the San Francisco Writers Conference and spoke about the earth-centered traditions of Neolithic Europe and read from her novel The Year the Horses Came at the 14th annual Conference on Reclaiming the Wisdom Tradition for Education. She and philosopher Werner Krieglstein discussed the topic “When Wisdom Was Natural.”
