Mayor to deliver inaugural State of the City Address

Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson delivers his first State of the City address Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Sacramento State.

The mayor will address business and government leaders and outline his vision for Sacramento, describe the state of the city’s finances, and give details on future projects for the region and explain city partnerships with public and private sectors. 

The address runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the University Union Ballroom. The Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, sponsor of the annual mayoral State of the City address, reports the event is sold out and general audience registration is closed.
