In Memoriam

One of Andrew S. “Andy” Kingsbury proudest accomplishments while working at Sacramento State was to enter the campus in the Professional Grounds Management Society, Green Star Competition conducted nationwide. As a result, Sacramento State received an honor award in the School and University Grounds category.

Andy Kingsbury passed away on Saturday, Feb. 17. He was also instrumental in introducing computer-controlled irrigation to the campus in 1991, reducing the time and labor involved in irrigation by use of a dedicated computer.
