superintendent to speak
Sacramento Unified School District Superintendent Maggie Carrillo
Mejia will be the next speaker in the Breakfast Club Speakers
Series, hosted by the Sacramento State Alumni Association.
Mejia will speak on “Positive Changes in Our City Schools"
at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 8 in the Alumni Center on campus.
The series, which includes breakfast, features a range of
guests speaking on hot topics in the Sacramento Region in
a low-key, off-the-record format that allows audience interaction.
The event is free to Alumni Association members and $15 for
non-members. Seating is limited. For reservations or additional
information, contact the Alumni Association at (916) 278-6295.
Workplace
safety workshop
Public Safety will host a free workshop on violence in the
workplace from 1 to 3 p.m., Thursday, March 16 in the Hinde
Auditorium.
