Career fair helps students view options

Sacramento State's Career Center hosts its annual Spring Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, in the University Union Ballroom.

This free event is geared to graduating seniors seeking entry-level positions in a variety of fields. More than 125 potential employers, including federal, state and local government departments, nonprofit organizations and businesses will be represented. Last year's event drew 1,500 job seekers. "We encourage students to bring copies of their resume and to dress professionally," said Shari Gonzales, events specialist at the Career Center.

The Career Center offers a variety of employment services for students and alumni. The center provides career counseling, resume and cover letter critiques, interview practice, job and internship postings and computer resources for career needs.

More information on the fair, including a list of registered employers, is available at www.csus.edu/careercenter or by calling the Career Center at 278-6231.
