Campus to honor alums, supporters for accomplishments
Eight Sacramento State alumni, including a two-time Super Bowl champion and a current National Football League offensive coordinator, will be honored at the annual Distinguished Service Awards at 6 p.m., Thursday April 17 at the Alumni Center on campus. The event will also honor two community leaders as “honorary alumni.”

E-Waste
E-waste, also know as e-scrap, includes monitors, CPU's, laptops, mice, printers, speakers, keyboards, keyboard trays, copiers, fax machines, televisions, radios, shredders, microwave ovens, telephones, pagers, VCR's, DVD players—almost anything with a cord. It also includes CD's, DVD'S and floppy disks. If an electronic item is still usable and in good shape, contact the property and receiving manager at 278-6015 for pick-up instructions.

To recycle e-scrap, paperwork must be submitted with the Property and Receiving Department to remove items with yellow property stickers the campus from inventory. Visit www.csus.edu/aba/forms/Equipt_Turn_In.pdf for a turn-in request form.

Once the item has been removed from inventory, submit a service request online at www.fm.csus.edu/Service_Request.htm to have your e-scrap item picked up by Moving Services at no charge. If your department generates a large amount of e-scrap, call 278-5801 to learn how to palletize it.

Any gauge and type of wire and cable is recyclable. Submit a service request online for pick up at www.fm.csus.edu/Service_Request.htm.
