Course provides training for active shooter incidents
The Sacramento State Department of Public Safety will discuss the history and psychology of active shooters, police/university reaction, the Emergency Notification System (ENS) and response options.
The session is 8-11 a.m., Tuesday, April 14, in the University Union Foothill Suite. It is free and open to the campus community.
Attendees will learn how to recognize an active shooter situation and practical response options should an active shooter incident occur.
