Sac State warming up for second 5K Fun Run

Sacramento State will hold it second 5K Fun Run 6 p.m. Thursday, April 29, beginning at Serna Plaza.

The event is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and family and friends.

The course consists of five kilometers (3.1 miles) of the campus grounds and parts of the American River. Cost is $6 to register.
 
Participants can register online at www.csus.edu/hlth/5k/.  Online registration ends Tuesday, April 27. Runners may register the day of the event but they will not be timed.

The run is part of a larger promotion for the new 153,000-square-foot Recreation and Wellness Center (named “The WELL”) scheduled to open Sept. 2. The WELL is being built on the north end of Hornet Stadium. For more information please visit www.thewell.csus.edu/grandopening/.
