Otis Scott, dean of the College of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies, was awarded the Medallion of Honor by the Sacramento Observer newspaper for his contributions as an educator.

Nancy Fox, senior director, University Transportation and Parking Services, was re-elected by the board of directors to serve as president of the Sacramento Transportation Management Association.

Scholarship

David Booher, Center for Collaborative Policy, made a presentation on "Climate Change and Planning: The Emerging California Policy" at the UC Berkeley Institute of Urban and Regional Development, on April 24.
