DIPLOMA DAY--More than 4,300 students are eligible
to cross the stage during ceremonies Friday and Saturday,
May 19 and 20. Highlights include the granting of an
honorary doctorate to the late Robert Matsui and the
awarding of the President’s Medallion.

Campus
bike path system to expand
Construction is set to begin next month to complete a comprehensive
bicycle path system that will encircle most of the campus and
keep bicycle traffic away from the congested center.

Scott named Social Sciences
and Interdisciplinary Studies dean
Otis Scott has been named dean of the College of Social Sciences
and Interdisciplinary Studies at Sacramento State. For the last
year Scott has served as the College’s acting dean.

fall address set
President Alexander Gonzalez will give his annual fall address
to the campus community on Thursday, Aug. 31 in the University
Union Ballroom. The event will begin with coffee at 9 a.m. followed
by the talk at 10 a.m. |
