Summer hours
This summer, in an effort to conserve energy, the campus will again adopt a modified work schedule with normal business hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break. These hours will be effective on Tuesday, May 30 and continue through Friday, Aug. 18.

Authorized supervisors may modify individual work schedules to address special situations as long as offices are staffed during these announced hours.

As in past summers, this schedule enables the University to realize substantial budget savings by reducing energy consumption during the late afternoon hours when energy demand is highest.

For questions or concerns that cannot be answered by individual office supervisors or managers, contact Elizabeth Redmond, interim associate vice president for Human Resources, at 278-4488 or via e-mail at lredmond@csus.edu.

Book buyback
The Hornet Bookstore will offer book buyback at two locations this week. It will also be available in the University Union Redwood Room from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, May 15-19.
