Recycling books
The campus community can donate books, videos, CDs, and magazines to the Library. Paper materials not suitable for the Library Collection or which cannot be sold by the Friends of the Library at the Book Bin (visit the book bin website at library.csus.edu/content2.asp?pageID=53) will be recycled by a company that turns used paper into attic insulation. Money earned from the Friends Book Bin sales is used to buy new books, materials and equipment for the Library.
Individuals interested in making a large donation should call Sally Hitchcock, University Library, 278-5954.
For more information, visit the “Sacramento State Recycles” website at www.fm.csus.edu/iwm/.
