Sacramento State students can rent a selection of textbook titles this fall through an alternative program by University Enterprises, Inc. and Follett Higher Education Group.

The Hornet Bookstore is one of just seven Follett-managed bookstores in the country chosen to participate in a pilot program called Rent-A-Text.

"Now students will have more options when they go to purchase textbooks," says Pam Parsons, Hornet Bookstore director.

Rent-A-Text will be offered on about 500 textbook titles at more than 55 percent off the retail price. Parsons says a title that retails at $100 new and $75 used can be rented for $42.50.

For more information on the Rent-A-Text program, visit the Hornet Bookstore online at www.hornetbookstore.com or call 278-6446.
