CMS keeps moving forward
The CMS (Common Management Systems) Project Office has launched the Student Administration 8.9 implementation, Human Resources 8.9 upgrade (including the implementation of benefits administration, eRecruit and leave accounting), and the Self-Service Portal Implementation.

The CMS Project is an initiative that involves all 23 campuses in the implementation of Oracle/PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning software. In 1997 the Chancellor’s Office began implementation of the CMS effort to consolidate the management systems of the CSU system and to identify one software package that would effectively support its human resources, financial and student systems.

Sacramento State has successfully implemented Human Resources 8.0 (time and labor, benefits, hiring, labor cost distribution, position management and temporary faculty hiring, including eBenefits, eProfile and ePay) and Financials 8.4 (general ledger, accounts receivable/billing, accounts payable, purchasing, and asset management). The Student Administration 8.9 implementation is the next step to a fully integrated system.
