Potential fall 2009 undergraduates and their families will get a glimpse of University life on Preview Day, Sept. 27.
Ask any future college student and they'll tell you—deciding on a university can be an overwhelming choice. So Sacramento State is inviting potential students and their families to catch a glimpse of campus life during Sacramento State’s third annual Preview Day, Saturday, Sept. 27, in the University Union Ballroom.
Designed for prospective fall 2009 undergraduates and their families, this year’s Preview Day activities include campus tours, information sessions on admission, financial aid and housing, and one-on-one conversations with faculty from academic colleges and representatives from admissions, student health, disabled student services and more.
Registration is free and available online at www.csus.edu/pa/previewday. Parking is complimentary in Parking Structure III.
“Students who participate in Preview Day have a wonderful opportunity to interact with our faculty and staff, see the campus, and make an informed decision about applying to Sacramento State,” says Barbara Sloan, associate director of Admissions and Outreach “Students and their families can come to Sacramento State when it’s in session, when the Union is open, and when current students are out and about.”
Visitors to campus are welcome to join Homecoming festivities, including the Homecoming Festival (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) and the homecoming football game (kickoff is 2:05 p.m.) against Portland State. For details, visit www.sacstatealumni.com/homecoming.stm.
