UEI names new executive director

James Reinhart, former associate executive director of the Cal Poly Corporation at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, became the new executive director of University Enterprises, Inc., on Monday, Aug. 31. He takes over from Marti Gray, who has been UEI’s interim executive director since 2008.

UEI is the nonprofit arm of Sacramento State and oversees retail and business development.

Reinhart is a former United States Marine and a certified public accountant. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from National University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bryant University of Rhode Island.

Reinhart’s experience includes commercial operations, sponsored programs, endowment administration, property management and leasing, capital planning, technology park development and faculty and staff housing.
