alumnus and graduate student and Xico Gonzales, alumnus, will
have their art work on display at an international exhibition sponsored by Intersection
for the Arts in San Francisco. The exhibit, “Terror? An Interdisciplinary
Project", opens on Sept. 11.

Ed Brazo,
Theatre and Dance, was elected to represent Western region members of the Society
of Stage Directors and Choreographers on a committee titled "Professionals
Working Within the Academic Environment".
Gale Justin,
Philosophy, has a review of Terence Penner’s and Christopher Rowe’s
Plato’s Lysis in the journal Ancient Philosophy.
Stephan
Kroll, Economics, will have his co-authored paper "The Impact
of Endowment Heterogeneity and Origin on Contributions in Best-Shot Public Good
Games" published in the journal Experimental Economics.

Tucker, English, had her paper, "A Diptych of Comedy and Carnival:
Alan Ayckbourn's House & Garden" published in the New Theatre Quarterly,
in May.
David Booher,
Center for Collaborative Policy, presented a paper at the 50th annual conference
of the International Society for Systems Sciences. "Complexity and Adaptive
Policy Systems" was co-authored by Judith Innes of U.C. Berkeley.

and the death of the "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin on Sept. 4.
Stephan
Kroll, Economics, was interviewed on Aug. 30 by KCRA Channel 3 news
on the economics behind the proposed cap-and-trade scheme to reduce California's
