The
recipients for this quarter’s Staff Employee Recognition Program have been
announced by the Office of the President. They are Lynda Alustiza (Young), Department
of Psychology and Priscilla Llamas-McKaughan, Financial Services.
Lynda Alustiza
(Young) works in the Department of Psychology. Her nominator indicated that she
“provides very clear and accurate advice and direction to students.”
Her nominator went on to say that she has “streamlined the Psychology Department’s
processing and record keeping” and that she “excels in the quality
of her work and interaction with students.”
Priscilla Llamas-McKaughan
works in Financial Services. Llamas-McKaughan’s nominator indicated that
she “is truly a goodwill ambassador for Financial Services and the University.”
Other comments included that she “is a consummate professional and she always
gives extra attention to callers in identifying the shortest route to a solution.”
The Sacramento
State Staff Employee Recognition is designed to recognize staff members who
make outstanding contributions in the area of service and dedication; who promote
values including teamwork, pluralism, respect and understanding; who contribute
toward more efficient or productive operations or improve quality of service
to contribute to the success of the University in the greater Sacramento community.
