Multi-Cultural Center Announces Fall 2008 Schedule of Events
With an ever-diverse California continuing to grow, Sacramento State’s Multi-Cultural Center continues to play a leadership role for students and citizens by emphasizing the importance of collaboration and common ground. These themes are at the core of the Center’s experiential learning events scheduled for Fall 2008.
“We are welcoming the campus and greater community back,” says Center director Charlene Martinez. Appointed to the post of director in January of this year, Martinez says the challenge is worth the effort. “I am pleased to be working with such hard working students and staff as well as faculty and administration colleagues who understand the importance of diversity and the need for an active center. The Center will be active this year and has a full schedule of events, including our grand re-opening and open house in October.” See calendar below.
