Preview Day offering students glimpse of educational future
Prospective students and their families can get a sneak peek at what Sacramento State has to offer on Preview Day, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, in the University Union Ballroom.
Preview Day hosts activities tailored to prospective fall 2008 undergraduates and their families. The day’s activities include campus tours and information sessions about admissions, financial aid and housing. University faculty will be on hand to talk with prospective students, and representatives from admissions, housing, student health, disabled services and more will be available to answer questions.
“Preview Day is a chance for prospective students to come to the campus and see what we’re all about,” says Emiliano Diaz, director of Outreach, Admissions and Records. “They can learn how the University’s services help them succeed and meet their educational goals. The homecoming festival and football game, which dovetail Preview Day nicely, also give future students and their families an even better picture of the University’s traditions and activities outside the classroom.”
Prospective students and their families are welcome to join in homecoming activities right after Preview Day, which include the Homecoming Festival (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) and the homecoming football game (kickoff is 2:05 p.m.). For details, visit www.csus.edu/homecoming.
Pre-registration to the event is not required, and parking is free in Lots 7 and 8. A campus map and directions are available at www.csus.edu/pa/directions/html.
