Employee Transit Pass
Sacramento State employees may ride all Sacramento Regional Transit fixed-route transit services, including Light Rail, by presenting a valid Sacramento State OneCard with an employee transit pass. Passes are $10 and are valid for six months (Jan. 1 to June 30 and July 1 to Dec. 31). They can be purchased at the Student Financial Service Center in Lassen Hall or at the University Transportation and Parking Services (UTAPS) office at 7667 Folsom Boulevard.

Peter Urone, Outstanding University Service Award
Sometimes it’s difficult to get people to volunteer but not Sacramento State physics and astronomy professor Peter Urone. In his 35-year tenure here, he has been active on numerous committees, and his volunteer spirit helped earn him the 2007-2008 Outstanding University Service Award.

Piano Series presents Faina Lushtak
Sacramento State’s Piano Series presents Faina Lushtak at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 4 in the Capistrano Music Recital Hall. She will perform a concert of favorite encores including Bach, Rachmaninov and Prokofiev. Tickets are $10 for students and seniors and $12 general admission.
