E-Waste
E-waste, also know as e-scrap, includes monitors, CPU's, laptops, mice, printers, speakers, keyboards, keyboard trays, copiers, fax machines, televisions, radios, shredders, microwave ovens, telephones, pagers, VCR's, DVD players—almost anything with a cord. It also includes CD's, DVD'S and floppy disks. If an electronic item is still usable and in good shape, contact the property and receiving manager at 278-6015 for pick-up instructions.
To recycle e-scrap, paperwork must be submitted with the Property and Receiving Department to remove items with yellow property stickers the campus from inventory. Visit www.csus.edu/aba/forms/Equipt_Turn_In.pdf for a turn-in request form.
Once the item has been removed from inventory, submit a service request online at www.fm.csus.edu/Service_Request.htm to have your e-scrap item picked up by Moving Services at no charge. If your department generates a large amount of e-scrap, call 278-5801 to learn how to palletize it.
Any gauge and type of wire and cable is recyclable. Submit a service request online for pick up at www.fm.csus.edu/Service_Request.htm.

Veretski Pass
Cookie Segelstein, Joshua Horowitz and Stuart Brotman, collectively known as Veretski Pass, will perform their brand of energetic East European music at 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7 in the Recital Hall at Capistrano Hall. The group plays Jewish klezmer on instruments such as the tsimbl (a hammered dulcimer), accordion, and basy (Polish folk cello). Cost is $15 general admission and $8 for students. Tickets are available at the Sacramento State Ticket Office, 278-4323, at www.tickets.com, or at the door one hour before the performance.

Hargrave drafted in sixth round by the CBA’s Albany Patroons
Haron Hargrave, who led Sacramento State in scoring last season and finished his two-year Hornet career averaging 11.0 points per game, was a sixth round draft pick and the 59th overall selection in the Continental Basketball Association’s (CBA) annual draft by the Albany Patroons late Tuesday evening.
