Professional
development workshops offered
Human Resources will offer a series of workshops as part of
its Professional Development and Leadership Program series.
The first will be “Concepts of Understanding Diversity
in the Workplace,” presented by Jaffe Dickerson, attorney
with Littler Mendelson, P.C. Dickerson is a former attorney
with the Office of Legal Counsel at the Chancellor’s
Office.
Two sessions open to all employees will be offered from:
- 8:30
a.m. to noon, Oct. 18 in the University Union Orchard Suite

8:30 a.m. to noon, Oct. 20 in the University Union Forest

session for MPPs and department chairs will be offered:

8:30 to noon, Oct. 19 in the University Union Orchard Suite
Upcoming
workshops will include Sexual Harassment Awareness, Best Practices
in Recruiting and Retaining a Diverse Faculty, Creating an
Accountable Organization, Building Bridges to Institutional
Effectiveness, and Leadership and Management Development.

Clery
Act information
In accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security
Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, 2005 crime statistics
for Sacramento State are available at www.csus.edu/police/cleryact.htm.
The statistics include crimes reported on campus over the
last three years. Crimes reported on off-campus property owned
or controlled by Sacramento State, or on property adjacent
to or accessible from campus, are also included.
In addition, the report includes information on campus security
policies, crime prevention, crime reporting and other safety
matters. Print copies are available in the library or from
the public safety or student affairs offices.
