Kevan Shafizadeh
, Civil Engineering, Tim Marbach, Mechanical Engineering, Rob Wassmer, Public Policy and Administration, and Virginia Matzek, Environmental Studies, were panelists for the "Car of the Future" film discussion, held Sept. 18, as part of Sacramento State's Constitution Week. The panel provided multidisciplinary perspectives in addressing audience questions following the film, highlighting how public policy shapes technology, environment, and economic considerations for the car of the future.

Linda Nowell, Teacher Education, participated in a panel discussion on "Processing and Conveying the Teacher's Intent in K-12 Settings" at the Region V Conference for Interpreters for the Deaf held recently in Sacramento.

Wesley Hussey, Government, led a discussion for the "Congress and the Constitution: The Founders' Intent" event during Sacramento State's Constitution Week. This event was an open seminar discussing the constitutional origins of Congress's powers and responsibilities. The talk also focused on distinctions between explicit and implied powers.
