OneCard reissue puts new face on campus I.D.
Are the edges of your OneCard beginning to fray? Is the lettering wearing away from overuse? Whether or not your OneCard—the official campus photo identification card—is showing signs of aging, all University faculty, staff and students will be issued new OneCards beginning Thursday, Oct. 25.

The conference, titled “Globalization and Women: The Good, Bad and Evil,” will be held 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Sacramento State Alumni Center.

Metal and Metal Objects
All types of metal are recycled at Sac State, including aluminum, copper, brass, steel, tin and mixed metals. If your department generates large amounts of scrap metal of any kind, call Integrated Waste Management at 278-5801 to arrange a pick-up. Parts may include bits of copper wire, brass plumbing parts, junk metal file cabinets, among others.

Jazz up the evening
Enjoy some swingin’ music at the performance of the University’s Jazz Ensembles I and II. The groups will hold their Fall Concert of big-band music at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18 in the Recital Hall of Capistrano Hall. Cost is $8 general admission and $5 for students and senior citizens. Men’s basketball kicks off new season
