Members of the global investment community will be on campus at 8 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 18 when Sacramento State hosts a financial management conference at the Alumni Center.
The conference, sponsored by the Sacramento State College of Business Administration, the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFAI) and the CFA society of Sacramento, will explore trends and strategies in the investment arena, according to Sanjay Varshney, dean of the College of Business Administration.
Key speakers for the conference include Russell Read and Christopher Ailman, chief executive and information officers for two of the nation’s largest pension funds, and representatives from several national investment and income management firms. “This will be a great learning opportunity and a platform for bringing some of the world’s great minds in financial markets together,” says Varshney.
