In memoriam: Donald T. Hinde

Donald T. Hinde, the longtime director of the University Union died Oct. 11 at his home. Hinde was the director of the University Union from its inception in 1975 and held that position until his retirement on Jan. 1, 2000. He is remembered for the “facilities and programs he helped to create and in the people whose lives he touched.” A memorial service was held in the Hinde Auditorium in the Union on Oct. 15.
