Pat Chirapravati, Art, was a keynote speaker of the Art history section at the Twelth International Conference of the European Association of Southeast Asian Archeologists at Leiden University,the Netherlands. Her paper is entitled, "Funeral scenes in the Ramayana paintings at the Emerald Buddha Temple, Bangkok."

Robert Brady, Art, was mentioned in the Ukiah Daily Journal Sept. 8 concerning an exhibit at the Mendocino College Art Gallery.

Barbara O’ Connor, Communication Studies, was interviewed on KFBK-AM 1530 Sept. 23 concerning decline-to-state voters, on KCRA-Ch. 3 Sept. 26 about local elections, in the Sacramento Bee Sept. 17 on the subject of the Governor’s veto of the state budget, in the New York Times Sept. 20 regarding the Governor’s veto of the state budget, in the San Francisco Chronicle Sept. 20 on the presidential election, in the San Jose Mercury News Sept. 12 about  the presidential election, in the Los Angeles Times Sept. 13 concerning the state budget and in the Turlock Journal on Aug. 27 as it relates to the budget stalemate.

Suzanne O’Keefe, Economics, was interviewed on KOVR-Ch. 13 Sept. 15 and 25 regarding the state budget stalemate and on KXJZ FM 90.9 Sept. 23 about taxes and the national debt.
