Sacramento State’s pre-law program helps guide future legal eagles

The process of selecting a college can be difficult, and for students interested in studying law there can be many additional questions. The Division of Criminal Justice at Sacramento State will host a Law Forum from 1 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13 in the Alumni Center. The event is free and open to students in the Sacramento area who want to learn more about attending law school.

A workshop from 1 to 2:30 p.m. will provide information for students about the process of applying to schools and preparing for the Law School Admission Test. The workshop will be followed by an open forum from 3 to 6 p.m., where representatives from more than 30 law schools will be available to answer questions. Pre-law advisors will also be available to meet with students individually.

Sacramento State’s Division of Criminal Justice is currently advising more than 400 pre-law students. 

The event is sponsored by the College of Health and Human Services, the Division of Criminal Justice, the Criminal Justice Alumni Association and Sacramento State’s Phi Delta pre-law fraternity.
