In Memoriam - Charlotte Walker

Charlotte Walker, wife of the late Stephen Walker, died Nov. 8. Stephen Walker was the University’s first chief academic officer and served as interim president of the University in 1947. Charlotte Walker was active in campus life and was instrumental in having the rose garden in the Main Quad, which is named for Stephen Walker, installed. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 18 at Trinity Church, 2620 Capitol Ave.
