You’re invited: campus forums on WASC
Educational Effectiveness Report

The campus community is invited to participate in two forums and provide input on the draft Educational Effectiveness Report (EER) being prepared in support of our re-accreditation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities.

Professor Jackie Donath has been working with a number of planning workgroups and subcommittees writing the WASC report. The report is due to the Commission early January 2009 in preparation for the visit by the WASC accreditation team to our campus April 2009.

An historic moment for Sacramento State, for reasons ranging from pride to enrollment to preserving federal funding, it is important the campus become engaged in the WASC discussions. This is more than something we must do—the discussions represent an excellent chance to know ourselves better. 

Take a moment to review a copy of the draft EER available at www.csus.edu/wascaccreditation and plan to attend one of the two campus forums.
The forums will be held in the California Suite, University Union (3rd floor) on the following dates:

Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008:   10 a.m. to noon

Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008:  3 to 5 p.m.

The campus community is also invited to provide comments on the draft EER via the campus WASC accreditation email address:  WASCaccreditation@csus.edu.
