David Booher, Center for Collaborative Policy, made a presentation Nov. 2 on "Collaborative Planning in a Complex World" at the annual conference of the California Chapter of the American Planning Association.
Ron Coleman, Biological Sciences, gave invited seminars on his research on parental investment in fishes at the Moss Landing Marine Labs on Nov. 5, and at the California Association for Show Tropicals (C.O.A.S.T.) in Costa Mesa, Calif. on Nov. 7.
Linda J. Goff, Library, was an invited panelist at the session, "Cyber Citizenship and Librarian Leadership" at the joint conference of the California Library Association and the California School Library Association, held in Sacramento on Nov. 12. At that time Goff received a Certificate of Appreciation from the California School Library Association, granted to The California State University, in recognition of "outstanding leadership in support of the California Model School Library Standards." The model standards were adopted in September by the California State Board of Education.
