Winter commencement
on the horizon
Winter 2006 commencement ceremonies are scheduled for Thursday,
Dec. 21, Friday, Dec. 22 and Saturday, Dec. 23 at Sacramento
State and Arco Arena, depending on the College holding the
ceremony. Doors open and candidates assemble one half-hour
prior to commencement.

Ozomatli
brings special blend of sounds to campus
Music
group Ozomatli will perform in Sacramento State’s
University Union Ballroom on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m.
Ozomatli’s distinctive sound is a blend of salsa,
merengue, underground hip hop, swing, jazz and blues, Asian/middle
eastern beats, reggae and samba. The group mixes vocals
with bass, tenor sax, clarinet, trombone, guitar, percussion
and trumpets.

Fourteen Sacramento State football players were named to
the all-Big Sky Conference team. The list featured four
