Ozomatli brings special blend of sounds to campus

Music group Ozomatli will perform in Sacramento State’s University Union Ballroom on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. Ozmatli’s distinctive sound is a blend of salsa, merengue, underground hip hop, swing, jazz and blues, Asian/middle eastern beats, reggae and samba. The group mixes vocals with bass, tenor sax, clarinet, trombone, guitar, percussion and trumpets.

Special guest Bucho, a local Sacramento soul/hip hop group, will also be appearing.
