Scholarship

Jana Noel, Education and the Community Engagement Center, had two entries published in the Encyclopedia of the Social and Cultural Foundations of Education, published by SAGE. Her entries are “Teacher Preparation,” and “The History of Native American Education.”

Anthropology graduate students Jordan Serin and Henry Lyle (now at the University of Washington), and their supervisor Roger Sullivan, Anthropology, presented posters at the November 2008 American Anthropological Association annual conference in San Francisco. The posters were titled "Perceptions of Natural in the Domains of Food and Medicine," and "Why Do Blood Donors Share?"
