Spring software training
This year’s faculty and staff spring software training will include three new MS Word 2007 workshops as well as new workshops on Access 2007, Excel 2007, PowerPoint 2007 and Outlook 2007.
For faculty who have been thinking about teaching online, or for those who have attended WebCT training in the past, the WebCT workshops have been updated to include best practices and pragmatic activities for online instruction with the perspective of both the instructor and learner. There will also be a WebCT workshop, “Adding Science Library Resources into Your Class,” to guide faculty through the process of creating stable URL links to Library resources to help improve student’s research capabilities. The focus will be on using science databases, but others may find the overview useful.
