UTAPS celebrates Bike to Work Day
The Sacramento State community is invited to celebrate Bike to Work Day on Thursday, May 15. This event is celebrated throughout the region annually, and this year students, faculty and staff who bike to campus on May 15 will receive a coupon for a free personal pizza from Round Table in the University Union (while supplies last). Cyclists who participate in the event can receive a coupon by going to the Bicycle Compound (located adjacent to the Guy West Bridge) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, May 15 with their OneCard and bicycle.

In addition, Regional Transit will offer free rides to all bicyclists on Bike to Work Day, and bikes are also welcome on the Hornet Express. For more information about the event, contact UTAPS employee transportation coordinator Noel Carolipio at 278-7527, or visit www.mayisbikemonth.com.

Catastrophic Leave
Sacramento State employees may voluntarily donate to other employees up to a maximum of 16 hours of sick or vacation leave credits each fiscal year in one-hour increments. CSUEU, MPP, Unit 4, Unit 6 and confidential employees may donate up to 40 hours per fiscal year.

If employees are interested in donating time, a donation form can be obtained at www.csus.edu/hr/forms.htm#Disability, or by visiting the Human Resources Disability Leaves office in Sacramento Hall 162, or by calling 278-3522.
