Budget information
Information on the state budget and its impact on the California State University system and Sacramento State is available on the University’s Budget Central website, www.csus.edu/pa/budget/. The website, located on the University’s homepage, is updated as information becomes available, and the campus community is encouraged to regularly check the page for timely information.

A trip to The Well
Tours of the WELL recreation and fitness center construction site will be held from 3-4 p.m., Fridays for faculty, staff and students.

Reservations are required, and the minimum group size is five. Cancellation notices will be sent out Friday mornings when necessary. To RSVP, call Joanna Cuellar at 278-6744 or e-mail UU-03@sacllink.csus.edu.

Updated faculty reports available
The Instructional Personnel Cost Report (fall 2008), Full-time and Part-time Faculty Ratio Report (fall 2008) and Faculty Teaching Assignment Report (fall 2008 and spring 2009) are available on the Academic Affairs Data Center and Institutional Research website.  

In addition to the updated reports, there are two new reports this year: a three-year trend data for instructional personnel cost per weighted teaching units and per student full time equivalent (FTE) and a three-year trend data for student FTE generated by full-time and part-time faculty.

Parking restrictions
To achieve energy cost savings, some parking facilities will be closed during the non-peak summer months. The closure schedule is:

  • Parking Structure III, closed through Aug. 23.
  • Lot 10, closed through Aug. 23.

Parking Structures I and II will remain open throughout the summer. Parking will also be available in all other campus lots.

Record sale
Capital Public Radio's annual used record and CD sale is 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, at 2100 Arden Way, Suite 172. For information, contact Constance Crawford at 278-8955.

Employee Assistance Program hours
The Employee Assistance Program is open for appointments during the summer. Appointments begin at 7:30 a.m., and the last appointment is 3 p.m. The office closes at 4 p.m. Call 278-5018, or e-mail www.csus.edu/eapprogr/living.htm to set up an appointment.

Catastrophic leave donation program
Sacramento State employees may voluntarily donate to other employees up to a maximum of 40 hours of sick or vacation leave credits in one-hour increments each fiscal year. Bargaining Units 1, 8, 10 and 11 may only donate up to 16 hours per fiscal year. If employees are interested in donating time, a donation form can be obtained at www.csus.edu/hr/forms.htm#Disability, or visit the Human Resources Disability Leaves office in Sacramento Hall 162 or call 278-3522.
