Construction
update
The Infrastructure II utilities upgrade project continues in various locations.
Sanitary sewer pipe installation in State University Drive (the road in front
of Facilities, Reprographics, Health Center and Sacramento Hall) may disrupt traffic
during the week. Detours will be in effect. Access to Lots A and B may be disrupted
at times but will remain open. RT buses will continue to board and off load passengers
at east side of the esplanade.
Starting Friday, August 4 and continuing through Tuesday, August 8, paving repair
will begin on State University Drive West. Traffic controls will be established
from the Stadium to Sinclair Road and vehicular traffic will be detoured at that
point. State University Drive West will be closed to through traffic from Sinclair
Road to State University Drive. Detour signs will be placed appropriately.
Work on the steam and chilled water pipe installation will disrupt pedestrian
traffic on the south side of the Library and on the west side of the Academic
Information Resource Center in order to install a manhole. Pedestrians and carts
may be rerouted to avoid construction.
